Disneyland has always been known as the most magical place on Earth. From the fantastic rides, meet and greets with Disney princesses, and spectacular fireworks and parades, it’s truly one of a kind. One thing, however, that may be overlooked is all the delicious foods to find at the amusement park! Here’s a look at some of the great treats you can try while staying near Disneyland Resort.

Let’s start with the sweets. If you love coconut, try the Matterhorn Macaroon, named after the ride with the snow peaked mountain. The Matterhorn Macaroon is a crunchy, coconut pastry topped with cream reminiscent of the snow on top of the Matterhorn. You can find it on Main Street inside the Jolly Holiday Bakery. If soft serve is more your thing, head over to the Tiki Room at Adventureland for some Dole Whip – a delicious pineapple flavored soft serve. For many, this is a must-have whenever they visit the Park. Don’t forget to try Mickey-Shaped Beignets at Café Orleans and the Mint Julep Bar at New Orleans Square. Famous in New Orleans, beignets are light and airy fried dough French pastries topped with powdered sugar. Simple yet delicious!

Disneyland has got you covered with main dishes as well. Looking for some comfort food? Search no further than the fried chicken at the Plaza Inn on Main Street. It includes everything you need – fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, and dinner rolls. How about a Barbecue Chicken Stuffed Baked Potato? These exquisite baked potatoes are served with sour cream, butter, chives and cole slaw. Find them at the Harbour Galley in Critter Country. If you really want to go all out, indulge on the Carnitas Nachos at the White Water Snacks in The Grand Californian located by the pool. These bad boys will be sure to fill you up. Crispy chips smothered in cheese and topped with carnitas or carne asada – they definitely won’t disappoint!

This next part is for the adults – the delicious cocktails. Try the Zombie if it’s been a long day – 5 different rums and a splash of fruit juice should get the job done. Find it at Cove Bar and Paradise Pier at California Adventure. If you’re looking to relax with some beer, stop by Bayside Brews at California Adventure and order the Sierra Nevada Torpedo IPA – for some, it’s the best beer at Disneyland!
