Weekly Anaheim Packing House Events

Jun 14, 2018

The historical Anaheim Packing District is filled with fun for all ages. The area includes a hip food hall with over 20 restaurants, live music on the weekends, shopping, and cultural events too.

Planning on heading there this summer? Check out a few of the awesome weekly events happening this June.

Farmer’s Park

Nestled between the Anaheim Packing House and the Packard building, Farmer’s Park is the perfect gathering and meeting place to wind down, check out local bands, or take a stroll through the olive grove.

Visit the Packing House

Originally built in 1919, the Packing House is a city landmark and at one time was the city business center. It was the meeting point for farmers to load their wares onto the train for shipping. Now restored, it’s a great spot for meeting up with friends. Head there for dining, shopping, and live music. And while you’re there, grab a cold one at the Anaheim Brewery or visit Umami Burger for a tasty and savory treat.

Geeks Who Drink at the Brewery

The Anaheim Brewery hosts a weekly quiz night every Wednesday at 7pm. It’s the perfect opportunity to sample some craft brew while testing your knowledge on various topics.

Live Music on Weekends

Stop by Thursday through Sunday for fabulous live music during the afternoons and evenings at the packing house and the park. Support these local musicians by purchasing an album if you like what you hear.

Free Yoga in the Park

What better way to spend some time out in the morning sunshine than with a relaxing and rejuvenating community yoga session? Bring the whole family for some gentle (not-too-early) stretches. It’s a great way to wake up and if you wish to make a donation, it will benefit The Yoga Mat, a local studio.

Cooking Workshops

Check the calendar for weekly culinary events and workshops held every Saturday in the private boxcar patio. Each week has a different theme. They’re $35 per guest and include instructions, professional cooking tips and lunch with a drink of wine, beer, or chai. You’ll want to reserve ahead for these as they’re popular and sell out quickly!
