Calling all foodies, wine connoisseurs, and Disney® fans! The much-adored Disney California Adventure® Food & Wine Festival is returning to the theme park in spring 2025. From delectable, Disney-fied goodies to interactive culinary experiences, this annual festival has something for everyone. We mean that literally—you’ll find specialty food items that include vegan, plant-based, gluten-friendly, allergy-friendly, and kiddo-friendly. We put together this handy guide with everything you need to know about planning your visit (including the best hotels near Disneyland®, of course!) and making the most of the DCA foodie celebration.

How Long Does the Festival Run?

This year’s Disney California Adventure® Food & Wine Festival runs from February 28 through April 21, 2025. That’s nearly two full months of celebrating California’s diverse wine and culinary scene! Whether you’re a local, a weekend warrior, or planning an extended stay, the lengthy run ensures you won’t miss out on any of the fun. As a huge bonus, Disneyland® Resort has other limited-time festivals going on at the same time, such as Disneyland® After Dark: 90s Nite and Star Wars Nite. These events require separate tickets for entry.

Where Does the Festival Take Place?

The Food & Wine Festival is held exclusively in Disney California Adventure® Park. 10 special festival marketplaces, all themed and with their own decked-out booths and kiosks, dot the park, with highlights near Buena Vista Street, Grizzly Peak, and Paradise Gardens. However, even Downtown Disney participates, creating specialty menu items that align with the festival at some restaurants. Most booths offer tasting menus with appetizer-sized bites, but you’ll find some exceptions offering full-sized snacks, meals, and drinks.

What to Expect During the Disney California Adventure® Food & Wine Festival

Being a festival celebrating all things California food and wine, you’ll see the Golden State’s agriculture, culinary traditions, and innovative spirit on full display in numerous ways.

  • Festival Marketplaces: Sample small plates, desserts, craft beers, wines, and cocktails from booths at 10 themed marketplaces. The park announced 2025 will feature two new themes.
  • Live Entertainment: Catch live music and engaging performances around the park, including shows children love, like Jammin’ Chefs. Palisades Stage and the Paradise Gardens Bandstand are the two ‘hubs’ for live music. In addition, visiting and celebrity chefs and mixologists share their culinary expertise through demonstrations and seminars throughout the festival. Check the Disneyland® mobile app for up-to-date showtimes during your visit.
  • Festival Tasting Passport: This is your ultimate festival guide, including a detailed park map and schedule of entertainment, character experiences, and other special events. Pick yours up when you enter the park.
  • Sip and Savor Pass: Grab this extremely popular pass in the park to sample multiple items without breaking the bank. Choose from two options—four or eight ‘credits,’ which are worth one food item or non-alcoholic drink each. Passes are valid at all Festival Marketplace Booths, as well as several select locations throughout the park. In 2024, the pass went digital for the first time.
  • Confection Purrfection with the Super Kitties: Don’t miss this fun cupcake decorating experience, inspired by the Disney Junior show Super Kitties. Catch several sessions each afternoon at the Hollywood Backlot Stage in Hollywood Land. Advanced registration isn’t available; instead, go sign up about one hour before each session.
  • Other special ticketed events: In addition to the festival’s main events, you can buy separate tickets for exclusive dinners, tasting events, and seminars. Disneyland® typically releases details and tickets early in the year, but so far a few highlights include a brewmaster reception with Karl Strauss Brewing Co., a winemaker reception with Duckhorn Vineyards, mixology seminars, and short 45-minute cooking demos from Disneyland’s chefs.
  • Limited-edition festival merchandise: Look out for special souvenirs including collectible Minnie and Mickey ears, apparel, and kitchenware.

Places to Eat and Shop

The festival marketplace booths are the stars of the festival, but you’ll find plenty of additional special themed dining and shopping options as well. The theme park releases more details just before the festival, but in the meantime, here’s a complete look at 2024’s offerings, as well as some standouts:

  • California Craft Brews: Frozen Mangonada Beer Slush and Cheeseburger Bao
  • D-Lish: Olive oil cake
  • Nuts About Cheese: PB&J Whiskey Shake
  • Cluck-a-Doodle Moo: Cheese pizza-flavored chicken wings
  • Earth Eats: IMPOSSIBLE chicken parm bites
  • Festival Beer Garden: Laid-back with a rotating selection of craft beers
