What Is the Disney100 Celebration?

The Disney100 Celebration starts on January 27, 2023 in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Walt Disney Company®. There will be many special festivities taking place during this time, including exciting premiers, shows, a new attraction, and the return of a unique parade. A New Disneyland® Attraction

Who doesn’t look forward to new rides at Disneyland®? This new attraction, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railroad, opens January 27, 2023 in Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland® Park. The whole family will enjoy this one as it’s open to all ages and heights. Experience whimsical cartoon fun and adorable hijinks by our two favorite mice, Mickey and Minnie. Keep an eye out for some other familiar Disney® pals throughout the ride as well. 

The “Magic Happens” Parade Returns

For parade lovers, it doesn’t get any better than the return of the “Magic Happens” Parade. Beginning on February 24, 2023, this 40-minute show will astonish and delight as it celebrates 100 years of Disney’s magical stories. Witness some of the most beloved characters from your favorite Disney® films such as Coco, Moana, and Frozen! Costumed performers and dancers elevate the magical experience alongside contemporary variations of some of your favorite musical scores.

The Platinum Party of the Century

The Platinum Party is going to transform Sleeping Beauty’s Castle with extra pixie dust and festive embellishments that continue throughout the park. This includes sparkling decor for all the Disney® cast, including Mickey and Minnie, along with all their pals. January 27 is the beginning of this magical upgrade in platinum for the party of the century. There will be special foods, beverages, limited time collectibles, and exclusive merchandise such as spirit tees, sippers, popcorn buckets and more that you’ll only find in the park during this event.
