The Lunar New Year is coming to the Disneyland® Resort! The celebration will take place from January 21st – February 13th, 2022. It will be located in Paradise Gardens Park at Disney® California Adventure Park. This is a multicultural celebration that commemorates the Lunar New year for Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean cultures.

Disney California Adventure Lunar New Year Celebration

Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession is one of the many exciting activities that will occur during the Disney Lunar New Year celebration. A group of dancers, musicians and performers will bring Mulan’s story to life as they dance for spectators.

Live entertainment on Paradise Bay Stage will also feature traditional Asian music & dance.

The Sip & Savor Pass is a great way to taste your way through the Lunar New Year celebration. It includes food and beverage items from select locations throughout the park. Enjoy the taste of various foods from China, Korea and Vietnam.

Some of your favorite Disney characters will make special appearances during this time, such as Raya for the first time! You can catch her at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, at “Raya and The Last Dragon – A Sneak Peek.”

Asian cuisine is one of the highlights of this event. There are many delicious options to choose from, including wonton noodle soup, shrimp fried rice and black pepper beef short ribs. Be sure to check out all the menus before you plan your day!

Commemorative merchandise, like limited edition pins, clothing items and crafts & activities, are all available for you to enjoy! The Lucky Wishing Wall is another exciting way to celebrate the Disney Lunar New Year, with a chance for your wishes to come true!
