The Important Details
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is scheduled to open on May 31, 2019. Disclaimer: Reservations and valid Theme Park admission are required to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge between May 31 and June 23, 2019. Capacity for Disneyland® Park, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and its experiences is limited. Access to the Park, land and experiences may be restricted or unavailable depending on Guest demand and other factors. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction opens later in the year.
About the Attraction
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be located inside Disneyland Park, north of Frontierland. The attraction will take up 14 acres to match the themes and landscapes of the movies.
There will be two major rides. Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run sits you in the cockpit of the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy as you prepare to go on a smuggling mission that even the mighty Chewbacca wouldn’t dare undertake. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will not be ready by May 31st, but it promises to thrill. You’ll join a squad of resistance fighters to foil a plot of the First Order.

Ever dream of building your own droid? The Droid Depot is a shop that’s entirely machine run and full of parts to create the ultimate co-pilot for your Outer Rim expeditions! The shop also has pre-made and premium droids for sale.
Oga’s Cantina
Has the excitement of being in the Star Wars universe got you thirsty? Stop by the local cantina for some off-world delicacies. The adults in your group may want to sample intergalactic drinks like the Jedi Mind Trick cocktail, Bad Motivator IPA, or Toniray wine.
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo
Think of this working hanger as a kind of food bazaar. This food freighter turned food court has an exotic something for everyone. Or, if you are more thirsty than hungry, stop by the Milk Stand for frosty drinks that are made with milk in colors of blue and green.
Black Spire Outpost Shops
The Black Spire Outpost is where you can peruse wares from across the galaxy. At Savi’s Workshop, you might find yourself a Kyber Crystal and other Star Wars souvenirs.
Toydarians don’t just bet on pod races and deal in junk; they are skilled craftsmen. Toydarian Toymakers is a fine place to pick up Star Wars memorabilia and planetary treasures. Those in search of more unique keepsakes may want to venture over to Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities.
Perhaps you’d like to bring home an alien pet Porg? The Creature Stall has all manner of exotic creatures for sale. Browse the shop and take a look in the cages to see the bizarre and just plain adorable.
Lastly, the fantasy won’t be complete if you aren’t dressed for the part. Black Spire Outfitters has everything from Jedi robes to smugglers’ garb. There may even be some Mandalorian Armor pieces here and there.
