This has been one of the most popular Lands in Disneyland® Park, and now with new features and renovations, it’s better than ever before. This occurs just in time for the Disney100 Celebration, which begins on January 27, 2023. It marks the 100th anniversary of the Walt Disney Company®, and it is a once-in-a-lifetime celebration you can’t miss! Stay with us at the Camelot Inn & Suites to experience the all-new Mickey’s Toontown opening on March 8, 2023.

The All-New Mickey’s Toontown

Mickey’s Toontown reimagined will feature whimsical cartoon sights, sounds, and fun with a complete renovation that adds new events and rides in Toontown. This includes an open green space where families can play and unwind, while they get ready for more excitement around every corner of Mickey’s Toontown. Anyone young or young at heart will enjoy this area of the park!

Mickey’s pal Goofy also has his own space with Goofy’s How-To Play Yard and his house, where families can explore an interactive candy-making machine that is straight from the imagination of Goofy himself. You have to see it to believe it! 

The New Disneyland® Ride 2023

One of the biggest announcements for this part of Disneyland® is the brand new attraction called Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railroad! This is an all-ages ride appropriate for any child’s height. It is super family-friendly, has a slow-pace, and contains hilarious fun from the two mice we love most in the world. Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railroad opening date is set for January 27, 2023 inside the El CapiTOON Theater.

CenTOONial Park Is Here

Just like Central Park in New York City, Mickey’s Toontown’s CenTOONial Park is right at the heart of Toontown in a glorious open green space for families to walk through and play in. It’s the first part of this all-new renovation of Mickey’s Toontown, with two interactive play experiences, fountains, and dreamlike trees that just beg to be explored. It’s truly one of the most unique spaces that Disneyland® has to offer for a totally new sensory experience. The CenTOONial Park opening date is March 8, 2023.
