Disney’s® Pixar® Fest has returned! Here’s everything you need to know about the festivities and how to plan your adventure:

What Is Pixar® Fest 2024?

Pixar® Fest is an exciting event that celebrates everything Pixar® and this year, it’s better than ever. Visitors can enjoy unique attractions, a Pixar® parade, dance parties, character meet-and-greets, and so much more.

When Is It?

Pixar® Fest takes place at Disneyland® Resort in Anaheim between April 26 and August 4, 2024.

Can’t Miss Attractions

Be sure to pencil these events into your calendar for an epic, Pixar-themed adventure:

Together Forever – A Pixar® Nighttime Spectacular

Together Forever is a thrilling Nighttime Spectacular show, with fireworks, projection mapping, and rare flyovers by Buzz Lightyear and the Up house at Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. You can also see the projection show at 3 other locations throughout the park, including near It’s A Small World, on Main Street U.S.A., and at the Rivers of America.

This year’s adventure celebrates overcoming obstacles with the help of unlikely friends from all 19 Pixar® movies and uses over 900 fireworks effects for an action-packed event you won’t soon forget.

However, note that fireworks only take place on select nights and are weather dependent. Be sure to check your stay dates on the Disney events calendar to see if this nighttime spectacular will light up the night sky during your visit!

Better Together: A Pixar® Pals Celebration

Better Together is Pixar’s iconic parade, which makes its way through Disney California Adventure® Park twice a day. Visitors can enjoy colorful floats with boy band 4*Town and Panda Mei, 22 and Joe Gardner from “Soul,” and a rip-roaring finale with Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Woody, Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, and Mike and Sulley.

The first parade is usually in the afternoon around 3:30 pm, and it starts at It’s A Small World and ends at Town Square. The second parade is at 6:30 pm, and it starts at Town Square, and ends at It’s A Small World.

Club Pixar®

Club Pixar® takes place at the Hollywood Backlot and is a vibrant nighttime party that brings the magic of Pixar® to life. Here you’ll find music, dancing, and a drive-in movie theater with Cars-inspired games and Pixar® shorts.

There’s also character face painting and great spots for photo opportunities to make the moment even more memorable. While not exclusively designed for an older crowd, Club Pixar® is a great after-dark activity for teens and adults who want to let loose.

Plan Your Trip

Planning is crucial for popular Disneyland® celebrations. Here are some helpful tips for navigating your visit:

  • Arrive at the parks as early as possible. It’s also a good idea to schedule busy attractions first since the park is usually slower the earlier you arrive.
  • Visit during other events. If you want to experience both Pixar® and Star Wars-themed Season of the Force, visit between April 26 and June 2, 2024, when these two celebrations overlap.
  • Consider getting a MagicBand+. Upgrading to a MagicBand+ gives you access with a special, Pixar-themed attraction that is exclusive only to band holders.
  • Watch the fireworks from It’s A Small World. It’s less crowded here than at Sleeping Beauty’s Castle and you won’t have to wait for hours just to get a good viewing spot.
  • Visit for 3 to 4 days. It’s impossible to do everything in just 1 or 2 days, so tacking on an extra couple of days makes sure you have plenty of time to enjoy the park.
  • Make sit-down dining reservations well in advance. You can – and should – book them as soon as 60 days from the date you want to go.
